Virtual Education Information

This document will help you navigate the process of enrolling in a Missouri Approved Virtual Educational platform. Buffalo High School does not host its own virtual program; however, there are several virtual opportunities available for students. Below you will find information to navigate a virtual option. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the High School Principal at brandon.jackson@bisonpride.org

  • Virtual Education can have its advantages; there are many factors to be considered before becoming a full time virtual student. Virtual education requires students to be self motivated, possess the ability to pace themselves, and remain focused to keep up with coursework throughout the semester.

  • Virtual education classes should be considered a semester-long commitment. Switching from a seated student to a virtual student or vice versa can be detrimental to the student’s educational progress.

  • Students who enroll in a full time virtual platform will be transferred from the Dallas County R-1 School District and become a student of the host district. All educational communication should be directed to the host district.
